Red-blacks embark on the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships
Jade Barbosa, Letícia Costa and Thauany Araújo represent the Most Loved in Glasgow
By Communication - Official Website - inThe Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation (CBG) announced this Thursday (October 01.10) the list of athletes who will compete in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. Among the six gymnasts on the women's team, three are from the red and black team: Jade Barbosa, Letícia Costa and Thauany Araújo. The representatives of the "Mais Querido" will travel to Germany and France before the World Championships, which take place between October 23 and November 1.
Before heading to Scotland, the women's team departs for Germany on October 6th, where they will participate in a meeting between Brazilians, Germans, and Swiss gymnasts. On the 11th of the same month, the gymnasts will travel to France for acclimatization, and on the 17th, they will travel to Scotland. In Glasgow, podium training will be from October 19th to 22nd, qualifying from the 23rd to the 26th, and the finals from the 27th to November 1st.
Rubro-Negro's Julie Kim was also on the roster, but was ruled out due to injury. She remains in Brazil recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in her knee.
