The red-and-black gymnasts Thauany Araújo and Rebeca Andrade, along with coaches Keli Kitaura and Ricardo Pereira, are in Doha, Qatar, with the Brazilian National Team. The athletes' first test at the World Challenge Cup was completed this Wednesday (23). The team went through podium training and was able to test the equipment at the Aspire Dome gym, the venue for the competition, which begins this Thursday (24).

This is the ninth edition of the artistic gymnastics event, which precedes Rio 2016 and welcomes more than 100 gymnasts from 33 countries. After Doha, the next stop will be back in Brazil, in Rio de Janeiro, for the Olympic Games test event, which takes place from April 16 to 19.

The artistic gymnastics teams of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo have support from the Brazilian Club Confederation (CBC) from the decentralization of resources originating from the Pelé Law and with resources from its sponsor – MRS Logística – via the Federal Incentive Law/Ministry of Sport (IR).
