Flamengo's Artistic Gymnastics team once again excelled, winning the major national titles of the 2019 season. Chief among them was the Brazilian Specialist Championship, where Flamengo secured the title with three gold medals, three silver medals, and one bronze medal. Jade Barbosa, Flávia Saraiva, Lorrane Oliveira, and Isabelle Cruz were key players in Flamengo's triumph.

In the Pre-Children's Women's Championship, the Gávea team also shone, winning the Brazilian Championship title in that category, as well as four individual gold medals on apparatus. In the Pre-Children's, Children's, and Youth State Championships, Mengão won gold on all apparatus and in the individual all-around in all categories, securing the 2019 Efficiency Trophy.

With the 2020 season in mind, the red-and-black athletes in all categories have already begun training for competitions throughout the year, with the Olympic Games as their biggest challenge. It's worth noting that Flávia Saraiva has already qualified for Tokyo in the Individual Apparatus category.
