The 2016 Olympics represent the pinnacle of world sport. In Rio, the best athletes in the world will be gathered. And, in Flamengo's hometown, it could not be any different: the Most Beloved will once again show its strength in Olympic sports. This Friday (8), the women's Olympic artistic gymnastics team was officially called up, with an overwhelming majority of athletes from Flamengo.

Of the six called up, four gymnasts are red-black: Daniele Hypolito, Flávia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa and Rebeca Andrade - completing the list are Lorrane Oliveira and the alternate Carolyne Pedro.

Artistic gymnastics activities at the Rio 2016 Games will take place between August 6th and 16th, at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Arena, in Barra da Tijuca.
