Under the technical command of Ricardo Pereira, Jade Barbosa resumed training at the Gávea headquarters, where she is undergoing a transition period, after having competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

With the great repercussion about the gymnast's right wrist being injured, Ricardo Pereira guarantees that the training that Jade has been doing at the Cláudio Coutinho gym, since the middle of last week, has been done lightly.

"I haven't had access to the medical report, which should be released today (Friday). Only after it has been evaluated by the specialist, recommended by Dr. Runco, will we know the true severity of the injury."

Meanwhile, the gymnast, who placed 10th in the Individual All-Around in Beijing, continues training alongside her teammate Daniele Hypólito.

"Jade and Daniele are training in two shifts. In the morning, we do physical training in Gávea. In the afternoon, we go to a gym, where we do various activities like hydrotherapy and treadmills."

Jade trained normally this Friday morning. According to Ricardo, the athlete herself said she didn't feel much pain in her wrist. In the afternoon, physical training will be on the beach, a change of routine.

Starting next week, both shifts will be held at the CRFlamengo headquarters, aiming at the next stages of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup (Glasgow and Stuttgart – from 15/10 to 19/10 and from 24/10 to 28/10, respectively).
