Victory on and off the field. On Saturday, in the match against Náutico, Flamengo paid tribute to its athletes who shone at the XV Pan American Games Rio-2007.

The tribute was held before the match, in the Maracanã Tribune of Honor, with the presence of the 23 athletes who represented and honored the CRF at the Pan-Rio.

With three gold medals, three silver medals and four bronze medals, the red-blacks guaranteed Flamengo 14th place in the Pan-American rankings.

In addition to the beautiful tribute, the athletes performed the famous lap of honor on the Maracanã pitch, further moving and exciting the immense Red-Black Nation.

On the occasion, the Rio de Janeiro City Council, through Patrícia Amorim, Vice-President of Olympic Sports at the CRF, presented the Pan-American Sports Merit Medal to Clube de Regatas do Flamengo for the performance of its athletes at the Rio-2007 Pan-American Games.
