With two goals from Marina Canetti, the warrior with cap number 4 of the Brazilian women's water polo team, Brazil secured its second victory in the Rio-2007 Pan American Games. In a match held at the Júlio Delamare Aquatic Park, in the Maracanã sports complex, Brazil beat the Puerto Rico team, 7 to 6 (1 x 1 / 0 x 1 / 3 x 4 / 3 x 0).

Marina Canetti, the Brazilian team's center, scored two goals for Brazil. The first came at a good time. Early in the third quarter, with Brazil trailing 3-2, the red-and-black player opened the scoring with a beautiful goal. The second, also in the third period, came later, with three minutes and forty-eight seconds remaining.

This Tuesday, the 17th, the Brazilians will face a tough challenge. The game, at the same venue, at 18 p.m., will be against the strong United States team.
