Brazilians suffer defeat, but shine at Júlio Delamare

It was a close call. It was a tough and dramatic match for the Brazilian women's water polo team. In a semifinal match, the Brazilians bravely faced Team Canada but were defeated 6-5 (1-1 / 0-3 / 3-2 / 1-0).

The match started evenly. With some good play, the Brazilian team kept pace with their opponents from the start. Despite the effort shown by the entire Brazilian team, the Canadians managed to hold onto their advantage until the end of the match, which saw no goals from the Canetti sisters.

In the first match between the two teams, Brazil's water polo debut at the XV Pan American Games, the Canadian team came out on top, winning 5-2.

Brazil continues its fight for the bronze medal against the Cuban team, at 16:30 pm. The Brazilians beat the Cubans 10-5, in the match on Wednesday (18/07).
