Alexandre Moraes, Director of the Nação Rubro-Negra Project, and Coordinator of the Special Group for Happiness and Safety at the Stadium (Gease-Fla), a project of the Vice-Presidency of Planning, sent an email to Luiz Cordeiro, who heads professional football at Clube Atlético Paranaense. The message protests the conditions offered to Flamengo fans in the clubs' last match, last Sunday, in the Brazilian Championship. Dear Luiz Cordeiro, As stated in our report, the treatment given to our fans, the majority of whom were fans with their families, from the state itself or from Santa Catarina, was not commensurate with the facilities provided by the stadium. Four of our employees noted the great difficulty in purchasing tickets, despite the large number of scalpers in front of the ticket offices. Our Embassy (Fla-Paraná) tried, without success, to obtain tickets in advance. Our fans received different treatment from Atlético PR fans, as they were prohibited from entering with banners and flags. Several fans had to stand and watch because there were not enough seats for the same number of tickets sold, which is against the Fan Statute, and there was also a large amount of pirated products being sold around the stadium. What saddens us is that we know that Atlético PR's directors are proud of the stadium and state on their website that it is the most modern and comfortable in the country! We are aware of this and we pass this information on to our fans because we know that the stadium can perfectly meet their desires of watching, together with their families, a match between two great clubs with complete satisfaction and joy.\ \ The objective of GEASE-FLA, as I informed you when I introduced myself, is precisely to transform a football match into entertainment and leisure. We are not enemies, perhaps competitors. On the contrary, we are partners, seeking to make football a profitable business. But to do so, we need to demonstrate to our fans that they are our customers and that they deserve treatment consistent with our purposes!\ Rest assured that, as we did in the game between our clubs at Maracanã this year, Atlético PR fans will have our full attention, with all the necessary information, a pre-established location, advance purchase, total respect, from their arrival to their departure, full attention from our volunteers and the use of banners, so that they can demonstrate their pride in supporting this renowned club. As customers, you have every right to enter and leave our stadium happy, and that's what we want, because we hope you tell your friends and come back in much greater numbers for the next match! \ \ We know that just like the people from Rio and, especially, the red-blacks from Rio, the red-blacks from Paraná are cordial and welcoming!
