Jade Barbosa once again enchanted everyone with her smile. The Multipurpose Arena was left breathless. The performance of the little Brazilian who won the gold medal in vaulting on Tuesday afternoon (July 17th) secured a score of 07 in the grand final of the floor exercise.

The red-black team won a total of three medals, one gold (vault), one silver (team) and one bronze (floor), ending its participation in the XV Pan American Games Rio-2007.

Happy with her results, Jade achieved much more than just three medals. The gymnast won the affection and admiration not only of Brazilians, but of all those who witnessed her tears when she let the gold medal slip away in the individual all-around event after falling on the parallel bars.
