After performing very firmly in the vault, in which she obtained scores of 15.300 and 14.912, Jade secured her first gold medal at the XV Pan American Games.

The gymnast, who won not only the gold medal, but the hearts of the entire Brazilian nation, will compete in two more competitions: balance beam and floor.
