Even before entering the fight for medals in the apparatus finals, on the afternoon of this Tuesday (17/07), Jade Barbosa received a phone call worthy of a champion.

Knowing the responsibility of the young red-black, President Marcio Braga, of the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, where the gymnast is a member, made a point of calling Jade and giving her an extra boost for the finals this Tuesday.

Quite confident, the athlete performed well and won the gold medal in the horse jumping event.

Later today, Jade Barbosa will receive a more than deserved tribute. Because she didn't celebrate her 16th birthday on July 1st, the gymnast will have a party organized by her father, César Rodrigues, and Elizete, who runs FlaFit, a gym located on the CRF avenue.

The tribute to the gold medalist will begin at 20 pm, with the presence of the entire Flamengo artistic gymnastics team.
