1) TICKET SALES
Due to the game's wide appeal, ticket sales were difficult.
Until game time, there was a long line for those wanting to buy half-price tickets. The process for purchasing half-price tickets is a major obstacle because, to minimize fraud, verification procedures are required, which significantly increases the purchase time.
Until there is a quota for half-price tickets or prior registration of fans entitled to this ticket, this bottleneck will be difficult to reduce.
2) PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE STADIUM
Despite the large crowd, access to the stadium was smooth and without any major problems. Here's some information from our partner "Fim de Jogo":
Despite some chaos at some ticket booths—5 and 8—for ticket buyers, the atmosphere among Flamengo and Fluminense fans is very good, at least that's what we observed on our recent lap around Maracanã. Fans of both teams move smoothly through the two designated entrances for each set of teams (Belini - Flamengo, UERJ - Maracanã). Flamengo and Fluminense fans walk side by side, with great respect and democracy. We hope it stays that way until the end of the match.
Proof of this tranquility is the photo of Priscila (tricolor) and Mylene (red-and-black), walking together toward the stadium entrance. The crowd could be the example.

Cristina Dissat, via cell phone: "While ticket office 2 (first photo) is quiet, ticket office 5 (second photo) is very busy. Two large lines are forming on both sides. The descent of the viaduct, which gives access to Maracanã Avenue, is already experiencing heavy traffic. The Fla-Flu match is already a public success."

3) STADIUM ENTRANCE
Apparently there was no major commotion at the entrance to the stadium, as demonstrated by the texts below, taken from the website "Fim de Jogo":

"We had no problem entering Maracanã through the Belini statue. Access was very organized and we're already inside. Maracanã still has space for a lot of people."
We just saw some police cars, sirens blaring, heading toward the stadium. We heard on CBN that fans are complaining about the disorganization of ticket sales. When we passed the ticket booths, some had mile-long lines, while others didn't. On the other hand, the entrance to the stands and seats was very quiet. Something must really be wrong.

An hour before kickoff, there was a disturbance at the stadium entrance, in the corral leading to the turnstiles. There was a lack of respect when entering these corrals, causing great apprehension, especially for children and women. In addition to the pushing and shoving, there was also the threatening presence of mounted police. Peaceful fans ended up paying the price for the rude ones.

4) PUBLIC
The attendance was 73.616 in attendance and 61.042 paying spectators, a new championship record. Revenue was R$1.045.504,00.
The atmosphere inside the stadium was calm. A few incidents occurred in the Urubuzada and between Jovem and Raça, but they were quickly resolved.
"Several small conflicts occurred in the stands of the Maracanã between Flamengo fans. The crowd was heated. Right now, there are a lot of people in the streets, cars, but we haven't seen any conflict. There aren't many celebrations from the Tricolor fans for now, because the Flamengo fans were the ones who left first." (Fim de Jogo website)
JECRIM – Few incidents were reported. One was for contempt and another was for a fan attacking a police officer. Both were committed by Flamengo fans.
PM – GEPE – The GEPE innovated by informing Fluminense fans over the public address system that they should wait for Flamengo fans to leave. The measure proved to be correct and effective, as there were no incidents between the fans of these clubs.
In the surrounding area, there were some small conflicts, such as a robbery in Praça Niterói.
There was a conflict at the entrance to gate 18 between Fluminense fans in the stands and those entering via the lower-seat ramp. Fluminense fans threw several cans at the entering fans, injuring one of them in the arm, requiring medical attention at the stadium's outpatient clinic. When police arrived, these fans were dispersed. Once again, the risk of selling cans at the stadium comes to light.
SUDERJ - Starting with this report and future ones, we will begin reporting the number of broken chairs per game. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Rodolfo for providing us with this information.
Since it's a desire of all Flamengo fans that Maracanã be managed by Flamengo, we must now be concerned about what happens to the stadium's assets. We hope to have this awareness from everyone.

5) ORGANIZED FANS
Aside from the minor conflicts mentioned above, the atmosphere among the fans was peaceful. Once again, the placement of the fans' song lyrics on the stadium panels helped foster harmony among the fans.
6) MAIN OCCURRENCES
There were no occurrences worthy of record.
7) PARKING
As always, parking at the stadium is very difficult. As we've consistently warned here, parking on nearby streets is a very high risk. The parking attendants shouldn't be taken lightly, and the city is constantly towing and ticketing cars, as is to be expected. We suggest that fans use the parking lots located at nearby supermarkets, such as Extra on Maracanã Avenue, Mariz e Barros Avenue, and Boulevard and Walmart on Cochrane Avenue. Parking is available at Shopping Tijuca and UERJ, as well as at the new convention center, across from the City Hall Administrative Center. There's the slight inconvenience of walking, but it's worth knowing that your car won't be towed or ticketed, and the prices (except for the Convention Center parking lot) are reasonable.
8) TRAFFIC IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
Traffic was as expected for a game with a large audience.
On the way out, the traffic flow was quick.
"Quick answer: What's a gas station for? You'd be wrong if you answered "to fill up the car." The gas station on Rua São Francisco Xavier and Rua Manuel de Abreu only has parked cars. In fact, parking is a common problem around Maracanã Stadium. Walking on the sidewalk is practically impossible, and where have the inspectors gone? There are no fines or towing. There's just chaos and a lack of respect for residents and pedestrians." (Fim de Jogo website)

9) GEASE ACTIONS
Regarding the issue with the turnstiles for the special seating during the Flamengo vs. Atlético MG game, BWA reported that it has already built a cover for the turnstiles. Therefore, we will wait for another rainy game to confirm the effectiveness of this measure.
We're awaiting a meeting with SUDERJ regarding the use of cans in the stadium. The use of these cans as weapons was confirmed yesterday. Unfortunately, action must be taken to curb this risk of accidents, which could become serious.
We will schedule a meeting with Representative João Pedro regarding the bill to make online ticket sales mandatory, so we can learn more about the project and share it with you.
