1) TICKET SALES
We've once again received numerous complaints about the difficulty in purchasing tickets. Many fans decided to buy tickets just before kickoff, causing a major commotion. The press widely circulated images of fans waiting in endless lines and complaining about the delay in ticket booths opening. Scalpers were back in action, charging up to R$50,00 per ticket in the stands.
We must record SUDERJ's statement, stating on the screen that it is not responsible for ticket sales, but Flamengo, and that, if in doubt, send a message to GEASE-Fla, through Flamengo's official website.
2) PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE STADIUM
Public access was orderly. Once again, we witnessed fans struggling to find their way in due to the lack of access signs. There was a huge crowd along the entire stadium sidewalk that faces Maracanã Avenue. As a result, people could only walk in the middle of the vehicle lane, causing traffic congestion. The short stretch between the end of Prof. Gabizo Street and Maracanã Avenue is a veritable "fair" of street vendors, carts, coolers, etc., making it impossible for fans to move around. In addition to this concentration, there are street vendors all around the stadium, with no police action.
3) STADIUM ENTRANCE
Here's a pertinent text from fan Leonardo, whom we thank for his collaboration: "At yesterday's game against Grêmio, the gates only opened after 16:00 PM. A very long line (mostly made up of children and couples) formed at the entrance, and no information was given to the crowd. I also found it interesting that the police were stationed at the top of the tunnel leading to the stands to advise those arriving on the best spots to watch the game. The green and yellow side of Manguaça, Urubuzada, and Raça was packed, and people were constantly arriving. I saw a girl being carried after fainting and witnessed the absurd difficulty of moving around as they literally brought her down from the top of the stands. Some saw the overcrowding and gave up, while others squeezed in to try to watch the game, while on the other side of the stadium, it was possible to see several available seats." We saw several fans arriving halfway through the first half. There was a serious flow problem at the entrance. turnstiles for the reserved seats.\ We would like to highlight the excellent work of the SUDERJ staff, helping, informing, and preparing fans to get into the spirit of the show, as demonstrated in the photos:\ SUDERJ staff providing information and handing out wristbands.\ The face painting with the club's colors is a success, as is the balloon distribution.\ That's the real goal! Children already properly painted having fun with their families.\
4) PUBLIC
The attendance was 63.189 paying spectators and 73.871 in attendance. The revenue was R$617.873,00.\ Once again, the fans put on an unforgettable spectacle! We didn't witness any fights in the stands.\ JECRIM – There were five incidents. Three for contempt, which were tried on site, and two others, which were forwarded to the 18th Precinct. The first was for attempted bribery (the fan tried to bribe an employee to let his minor son into the stands) and the second was for the seizure of fireworks, ammunition, and drugs from the Grêmio fan bus.\
PM/GEPE - The seizure described above was carried out by GEPE. Otherwise, there was no incident worthy of note.
SUDERJ - Damaged chairs: White - 10 Yellow - 15 Green - 0 Once again, we would like to thank the Engineering staff for their prompt and polite welcome, all dedicated and passionate about their work. 5) ORGANIZED FANS
We've seen the emergence of another organized fan club, called FLAmigos. It's another fan club inspired by peace in stadiums. It's worth noting the presence of a new "big banner," which emerged from the Raça Rubro-Negra fan club, with the words: "Kids back at Maracanã...that's priceless!"
6) MAIN OCCURRENCES
In the blue seating areas beneath the Raça stadium, fans stood and watched the entire game uninterrupted, unhindered by police. In other areas, large groups of fans remained standing for much of the game. The Maracanã's official announcer repeatedly asked fans to sit down, to no avail. The fans responded enthusiastically to the "Maracanã is Flamengo's" banners displayed before the players' entrance, which also received significant media coverage.
7) PARKING
Since they decided to keep Gate 15 closed for access, only opening it for exits, we've been experiencing long lines to access the parking lots. Since Gate 16 became the access point for Gate 15, everyone who parks at Gate 17, which is paid, is starting to form lines right in front of the stadium ticket booths. Yesterday, there were lines triple-deep. The lack of police officers or traffic agents directing drivers makes access extremely difficult. Suderj employees, despite their goodwill and politeness, have been unable to avoid conflicts between drivers, exasperated by the disorganization. We believe one solution is to reopen access through Gate 15. Even though it was closed to make it exclusive to delegation buses, the simple presence of a police officer would solve the problem. As the bus approaches, they would hold up the existing line until it enters. We believe this measure would prevent the formation of triple-parking queues. Placing more police officers and traffic agents to guide drivers is also essential.
It's worth noting that UERJ only kept one gate open for access (Gate 1), which caused a commotion on Radial Oeste, as there are many parking attendants and "informal" parking spaces competing with the university at that point. Furthermore, at the same time, a union or political demonstration was taking place inside the auditorium at UERJ. Upon exit, all the gates were open.
8) TRAFFIC IN THE SURROUNDING AREA
Eurico Rabelo Street was completely stopped both before and after the game. Traffic only returned to normal after 21:30 p.m.
9) GEASE ACTIONS
We were warmly welcomed by Secretary Eduardo Paes, who considered our proposal positive and constructive. We hope to strengthen our relationship so that we can work together to find solutions, both on the part of Flamengo and the secretariat and related agencies, to make Maracanã a model stadium in the country very soon.
