GAME REPORT FLAMENGO 3 x 0 NÁUTICO

Maracanã – 05/07/08 – 18:10 h

Report No. 29/08

1) TICKET SALES

Since Saturday morning, there had been a lot of activity at the stadium ticket offices. However, after 15:00 p.m., the lines grew until the situation became chaotic. Each purchase lasted, on average, five minutes. Wait times reached 90 minutes! To make matters worse, many attendants didn't have change, which further delayed the wait time. Five more ticket offices could have been added, and the situation would have been impossible to resolve due to the slow service, clearly demonstrating a flawed logistics system.

To make matters worse, and corroborating what we have been requesting since the beginning of the year, there is no signage for fans regarding the ticketing locations around the stadium, nor any signage above the ticket booths informing them what type of ticket is being sold there.

We monitored the activity near the ticket booths until 18:15 p.m. Until then, despite being quite angry, the fans remained in good order. The police acted as guides, as there were no outsourced employees providing information to the fans.

We witnessed, with great sadness, many fans (several, with their entire families), giving up and leaving, angry and sad.

We also witnessed, as the photos below show, many children putting themselves at risk of getting hurt in the crowd!

Ticket office activity early Saturday afternoon

The photo above on the left was taken at 16:30 p.m. It was the line formed for ticket office 5. The second photo on the left was the line formed at 17:00 p.m., at ticket office 9. The others were taken at 18:00 p.m., at ticket office 5.

We once again remind fans to avoid buying tickets from scalpers to avoid embarrassment. Currently, the ticket sales process is computerized. Therefore, our professionals can determine the card's origin using the card's identification number.

We also remind you that minor fans who purchase half-price tickets must be accompanied by a guardian over the age of 18 and in possession of an identity document and a document proving that they are studying (tuition fee slip or certificate proving that they are attending school, when public).

2) PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE STADIUM

Traffic at the entrances to Maracanã stadium was normal until two hours before kickoff. From that point on, traffic increased considerably without, however, presenting major problems.

3) STADIUM ENTRANCE

Due to the great difficulty in acquiring tickets, entry did not present the traditional bottlenecks.

4) PUBLICO public was from 44.434 payers quality 47.047 gifts. TO income was R$ 743.521,00.

Game Summary/Boardboard:

Medical Department - 23 non-serious cases were recorded.

The Medical Department urges fans taking medication for hypertension, diabetes, or various other conditions to come properly medicated or bring their own. A football match is a thrilling experience! So, it's best to come prepared and prepared!

SUDERJ –

We ask for help from the organized fan groups located in the yellow sector to advise fans about the consequences of this act, which is being observed through cameras.

Any fan caught vandalizing stadium property will be detained and brought to summary trial. Fans from organized fan groups may be punished.

JECRIM – JECRIM did not work on this game.

5) ORGANIZED FANS

For a change, the fans put on a beautiful show, in an atmosphere of peace and harmony!

6) MAIN OCCURRENCES

Under normal circumstances, the main event would have been a championship attendance record break for this game. The fans, as everyone hopes and expects, and despite any adversity, decided to support the team and traveled from all corners of the city, especially from areas far from ticket outlets, to Maracanã.

We ask that, whenever possible, fans purchase tickets in advance to avoid crowds.

For this game, we noticed that many people arrived well in advance, but still had enormous difficulty in purchasing their tickets.

It became clear to us that the biggest bottlenecks are the sale of half-price tickets, the lack of signage for fans and, in some cases, the difficulty in getting change.

The massive presence of fans on game day, far from being a problem, is a gift for us, a source of satisfaction!

Therefore, it is up to us to prepare the appropriate logistics to face it, with the respect that our fans deserve!

It should be noted here that, until the start of the match, the attitude of both fans and police was exemplary! On the one hand, the fans resignedly awaited their turn, and on the other, the police organized and passed on information that wasn't their responsibility but absorbed it with dignity.

7) PARKING

We remind fans once again that anyone who parks on the sidewalks of the stadium's side streets runs a significant risk of having their car towed. Parking attendants, upon seeing the tow trucks, disappear unpunished. Be aware!

O UERJ parking lot is a good option, but fans should arrive early. Other options include Rua General Canabarro and cross streets, the Extras parking lot on Rua Mariz e Barros and Av. Maracanã, and the underground parking lot of the Administrative Center (Piranhão).

Previously, residents of the streets adjacent to Eurico Rabelo Street had to deal only with the problem of parking attendants, who would instruct drivers to park in the most unlikely places possible. Often, residents could only enter their homes through the garage if a tow truck was called. But now, on top of that, another issue arises.

Law enforcement has been curbing street vendor activity in the surrounding area, but apparently this means banning them from selling on Eurico Rabelo Street, Maracanã Avenue, and part of Radial Oeste Avenue. The solution is simple, then: the cross streets now have a plethora of street vendors who have moved there. This problem used to be quite common only on Isidro de Figueiredo Street, which is no longer the case.

8) TRAFFIC IN THE SURROUNDING AREA

Due to the large crowd of fans in front of ticket office 5, on Av. Maracanã, traffic was slow, with a major impact on the Oduvaldo Cozzi viaduct.

Avenida Professor Manoel de Abreu and São Francisco Xavier were very busy until 40 minutes after the end of the game.

Traffic at the exit of the parking lots was congested for up to 1 hour after departure.

9) GEASE ACTIONS

The presidency of Flamengo, through act 08/2008, established on July XNUMXrd a Commission formed by the club's Vice-Presidents, aiming to improve the entire process involving ticket sales and the operational management of the service provider.

GEASE-Fla, with the help of its volunteers and also through its blog, at http://geasefla.blig.ig.com.br/, will conduct research whose objective is to improve the ticket sales system.

We count on the help and request the participation of all those who frequent Maracanã to collaborate with this research and send us their criticisms and comments to ouvidoria@gease-fla.com.br.

We are in contact with SUDERJ and GEPE, seeking alternatives that provide fans attending the game with basic comfort conditions. We believe that the right to purchased seats is a key factor in finding adequate logistics, and we know that these agencies have the necessary expertise.

GEASE-FLA is in constant contact with SUDERJ and the club's management, aiming to increase the attractiveness of Flamengo's games at Maracanã. We are confident that this joint effort will result in very positive actions for fans this semester.

FlaZine - To publish FlaZine, Flamengo's fan magazine, we need advertisers and sponsors. Interested parties should contact Simone at simone@flash-assessoria.com.br.

We remind you twistedr, especially those accompanied by minors, who seek to buy the ticket in advance or, if you do it on the day of the game, arrive early to avoid crowds. ticket offices and turnstiles. O GEASE-FLA, in partnership with FLATV and SUDERJ, is looking to entertain fans who arrive early with videos and goals.

O fan who wants to send messages, whether complaints, reports, questions or suggestions regarding the Flamengo games at Maracanã, can do it, accessing the website of GEASE-FLA (www.gease-fla.com.br) and clicking on Ombudsman Office.
