The logistics for transferring these fans to Maracanã were spot on! Congratulations to the SUDERJ and GEPE organization. Even the opposing team's players were impressed by the comfort of the gymnasium and delighted with the fans. We suggest organizing a doubleheader during the Brazilian basketball playoffs, along with the Brazilian soccer matches. We would like to reiterate the unsafe conditions found on the floor of the yellow seats on the left side of the stands, caused by talcum powder, which has made it slick and slippery. Creative demonstrations by organized fan groups are always welcome, as long as they do not pose a risk of accidents, in this case, the use of talcum powder, which can lead to slips and falls. If this type of demonstration continues, SUDERJ will be obliged to clean the floors more efficiently, thus eliminating any risk of accidents. We believe that, given the current condition of the floor in these areas, under normal circumstances the Fire Department would not release them, considering them unsafe.
7) PARKING
We would like to remind fans once again that anyone who parks on the sidewalks of the stadium's side streets runs a significant risk of having their car towed. The parking attendants, upon seeing the tow trucks, disappear unpunished. Be careful! The UERJ parking lot is a good option, but fans should arrive early. Other options include Rua General Canabarro and side streets, the Extras parking lot on Rua Mariz e Barros and Av. Maracanã, and the underground parking lot of the Administrative Center (Piranhão). Many fans, even though they were informed that parking on Radial Oeste was not permitted, chose to trust the parking attendants. All of these cars were towed and taken to the Municipal Depot.
