Judoka Rodrigo Artilheiro, a top athlete at the CRFlamengo dojo, is on the list of members of the Brazilian Greco-Roman wrestling team that will be competing in the XV Pan American Games Rio-2007.

With his 115kg, Artilheiro, who came 4th at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo – 2003 and was crowned three-time Brazilian champion (2005/2006/2007), will be the representative of the up to 120kg category.

Currently dedicating himself solely to Greco-Roman wrestling, the athlete is part of the select list of red-and-black judokas who will be competing in the fifth edition of the National Judo Grand Prix.

Rodrigo Artilheiro started wrestling six years ago to supplement his judo training and ended up becoming passionately involved in the sport.

The Greco-Roman wrestling matches at the Rio-2007 Pan American Games will be held at the Riocentro Complex.
