Illegal street vendors circulating inside Maracanã Stadium. This was the main occurrence observed by volunteers from the Flamengo Stadium Happiness and Safety Special Group (Gease-Fla) during last night's Copa Sudamericana match between Fluminense and Flamengo.

All the street vendors were selling unlicensed Flamengo merchandise in the stands. "This has been a recurring occurrence during every Flamengo game at Maracanã," comments Alexandre de Moraes, coordinator of Gease-Fla, a project linked to the Club's Vice President of Planning. "With this report, we want to provide support for authorities to combat this illegal practice, which is detrimental to our institution. Our goal is to generate information that will serve as a basis for proposing improvements that increase safety, service quality, and comfort for our fans," explains Mario Cruz, Flamengo's Vice President of Planning. Gease-Fla was created by Presidential Act No. 010/2006 to propose and implement initiatives to ensure that all fans, especially Flamengo fans, can enjoy greater safety, comfort, and enjoyment at stadiums.
