Promoted by Flamengo's Social Responsibility department, the "Nação no Maraca" initiative reached an important milestone: 20.000 people from socially vulnerable backgrounds attending Flamengo games at Maracanã. This initiative, part of the club's social inclusion agenda, aims to democratize access and awaken a sense of belonging among socially vulnerable groups.
Created in 2022, the "Nação no Maraca" initiative has already brought indigenous people, homeless people, refugees, people in conflict with the law, people with disabilities, people sheltered by social institutions and many other groups, sometimes invisible to society, to Flamengo matches, who have had the chance to experience the passion for Flamengo.
The success of "Nação no Maraca" reflects the transformative impact that sport can have on people's lives, reinforcing the social role of clubs beyond the field. The milestone of 20 participants not only celebrates the initiative's reach but also inspires the continuation and expansion of similar initiatives, reaffirming Flamengo's commitment to social responsibility and inclusion.
