Saturday (29) was the day of another action of the 'Solidarity Nation' campaign. Flamengo, in partnership with the project "Sopão do Bem, Nós por Nós", accompanied the delivery of soup and warm clothes to homeless people located in the Center of Rio. In addition to helping with the distribution, Mais Querido also donated 432 units of alcohol gel. The action took place on Rua Marechal Câmara and Largo da Carioca.

The "Sopão do Bem" social project aims to bring together volunteers to cook soup and distribute it to homeless people throughout the city center. In addition to the soup, volunteers also brought warm clothes and blankets to help with the cold winters in Rio.

"Our participation isn't just about providing food, but also about welcoming these residents. Besides feeding them, we're also providing affection and care. Our goal is to deliver meals to nourish their bodies and, at the same time, provide some warmth during this difficult time we're living through. Regarding the hand sanitizer donated by Flamengo, it's not just about hygiene, it also helps them identify with the club. They feel more valued," said Elizabeth Gomes, a volunteer on the project.

It's always worth remembering that Flamengo's hand sanitizer units are produced in partnership with LBBio (Brazilian Biology Laboratory). Camila Nascimento, the club's Social Responsibility Manager, was present for this additional initiative.
