In another stage of the 'Solidarity Nation' campaign, Flamengo, in partnership with SOS Favela/Viva Rio, carried out this Friday (17) the distribution of food vouchers for players who play in the clubs of series B1 and B2 of the Rio de Janeiro State Championship. The action took place at the Leônidas da Silva Stadium, which belongs to Bonsucesso, and included athletes from the host club and Audax.

In total, around 30 athletes attended the stadium to receive the R$100 aid each. It's worth noting that Flamengo's professional players were the main initiators of the initiative, which aims to mitigate the impacts of the novel coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the cards, the Mais Querido also distributed some autographed jerseys from the club.

In the coming days, the action will include more players from the following teams in the B1 and B2 series of RJ: Maricá, Nova Cidade, Olaria, Esporte Clube RJ/SP, São Gonçalo, Barcelona and Itaboraí.
