#VistaSeuManto: Flamengo launches campaign to celebrate Flamengo Fan Day
With a series of videos in which it surprises fans on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, the club encourages red-and-blacks to wear the Manto this Monday
By Communication - Flamengo - inWalking down the street in any state of Brazil and passing by several people wearing Flamengo shirts is nothing new. But especially on this Monday (28), Flamengo Fan Day, the Most Beloved encourages the Biggest Fan Base in the World to paint the country red and black.
Since last Thursday (24), the club has been publishing, on its official social media profiles, videos showing fans being surprised on the street and receiving a Sacred Mantle as a gift. With the emotion that the act causes in the people approached and the stories of each of them about how they fell in love with the Most Beloved, Flamengo intends to touch the hearts of the fans even more. The #VistaSeuManto campaign aims to celebrate the joy of supporting Mengão and encourage the red-blacks to go out on the streets properly dressed in red and black this Monday (28).

About the date
In October 2007, then-Rio de Janeiro Mayor César Maia sanctioned "Flamengo Fan Day." The law was authored by Councilman Jorge Mauro and became part of the city's official calendar. It's no coincidence that the date coincides with the feast of Saint Jude Thaddeus, the patron saint of Flamengo.
