Students from Flamengo's social project go to Maracanã for the first time
Ten children enjoyed the team's 3-0 victory in the CONMEBOL Libertadores
By Social responsibility - inIn addition to the joy of their 3-0 victory over Universidad Católica de Chile in the CONMEBOL Libertadores, Flamengo provided unforgettable moments for ten students of "Jogaremos Juntos," the club's social project that uses sports as a tool for social transformation. Accompanied by their teachers, the students, who are part of the "Jogaremos Juntos" group in the Cantagalo community, were at Maracanã for the first time.

"The Maracanã stirs everyone's emotions; one of the boys even cried with emotion when he walked in. Being part of the celebration, singing with the fans, seeing live the players they only know from television, is priceless. It was a remarkable experience for these boys who, like all young people, have so many dreams in life," said Daniel Souza, social educator at the Núcleo Jogaremos Juntos do Cantagalo.
With its own methodology, Jogaremos Juntos is an educational project through sports, based on socio-emotional skills. Through the project, children and young people have the opportunity to develop self-awareness, resilience, empathy, focus, and more. These skills are learned through sports and then put into practice to face and overcome life's challenges, whether at school, with family, or with friends.
