The Guardian Angels play alongside Flamengo! And they were honored throughout the weekend in the live broadcasts of FlaBasquete's matches in the 2020 State Championship. In addition to the Pride of the Nation's starting five, who were crowned five-time Rio de Janeiro champions last Sunday (04), Fla TV also showed the Guardian Angel's lineup, formed by Daniel Daisson, Henrique Trinckquel, Tarcísio Godoy, Henrique Ávila and Ricardo Mello, some of the program's main contributors.

Those who choose to be Angels not only help, but are also part of Flamengo. The initiative aimed to recognize those who support Flamengo's Olympic sports and help make Mengão even stronger. 

"It was really cool; it's definitely another incentive to participate in the project. I hope we have even more Angels contributing this year," said Daniel Daisson.

Launched in 2013, Anjo da Guarda has become one of the largest sponsors of Mengão's Olympic sports by raising funds that are invested in the development of new stars. Anyone can participate by donating tax-exempt donations or deducting up to 6% of their income tax due, contributing to the development of a new generation of Flamengo idols and citizens. The amount is fully refunded to participants through tax refunds.
