Antonio Alcides da Silva Freire is the new president of the Deliberative Council of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo. In an election held this Tuesday (11), the councilors chose the candidate of Chapa Roxa and his vice, Gil Bernardo Leal, to assume the positions. Alcides received 476 votes, followed by Alexandre Póvoa, of Chapa Azul, with 258. Lysias Itapicuru, of Chapa Cinza, received 62 votes. Two null votes and one blank vote were also counted, with a total number of 799 participants.

The electoral process took place in the Salão Nobre, located at the Gávea headquarters, this Tuesday. Antônio Alcides and Gil Bernardo Leal were sworn in shortly after the end of the count and will take over CODE for the next three years.
