Antônio Alcides is re-elected president of Flamengo's Deliberative Council
Candidate of the Purple List, the red-black will have Fábio Domingos as his running mate
By Communication - Flamengo - inOn Tuesday night (14), at a regular meeting of the Deliberative Council, Antônio Alcides Pinheiro da Silva Freire and Fábio Domingos, from Chapa Roxa, were elected president and vice-president of CODE, in a dispute with Ricardo Lomba and Michel Helal, from Chapa Branca. Alcides remains in office after presiding over the Council in the 2019/2020/2021 triennium.
Voting took place from 8 am to 21 pm this Tuesday (14), in the Noble Hall of the social headquarters. Chapa Roxa obtained 490 votes, against 398 for Chapa Branca; there were still two null votes, totaling 890 votes.
The Grand-Benefactors, Benefactors, Emeritus, Redeemed, Laureates and Owners, who expressed this purpose in writing in the last three months of 2018, were eligible to vote, as well as the Transitional Body that will be elected and sworn in on December 04, 2021, with their monthly fees paid and without any history of punishment by Flamengo in the three years prior to the election.
After the re-elections of Rodolfo Landim, as president of the Board of Directors, and Antônio Alcides, as president of CODE, the club will have a new election tomorrow: the Board of Directors has an election scheduled for this Wednesday (15), from 19 pm to 21 pm, in the Rogerio Steinberg auditorium. On Thursday (16) the inauguration ceremony of president Landim is scheduled, in the Salão Nobre, at 19 pm.
