This Friday, the 10th, adidas released Flamengo's new uniform for the 2026 season. As the club itself announced last week, the nomenclature "uniform 2" or "away" has been retired. Now, the traditional white shirt of the Rubro-Negro will be known as the White Home Kit.

Recording the highest average attendance in Brazilian football over the last ten years, Flamengo always has its fans present wherever it goes, whether at the Maracanã or far from Rio de Janeiro – therefore, the result is clear: for the red-and-black club, there is no such thing as an away game.

In addition, the White Home Jersey is an asset of the institution and has been present in significant moments of its history. In the 1981 World Championship victory, for example, the team wore white to overcome Liverpool, even playing in Japan. More than a change in nomenclature, the launch recognizes the importance of its fans, who transform any stadium in the world into an extension of the Maracanã. 

Flamengo's new uniform is predominantly white and features the return of the red and black stripes on the chest, a central element that last appeared in 2019, a historic year for the club. On the shoulders, the three adidas stripes appear thicker and in red. The kit is completed with black shorts and white socks.

In its Authentic (Player) version, the White Home Jersey features the same technology as the sports equipment used by athletes on the field. The Flamengo crest and the adidas logo are crafted with a lenticular material, an innovation from the brand that creates visual effects on the garment when in motion. The design is the result of a modern construction that combines design with high performance.

Flamengo's White Home Jersey is available in Player and Fan versions, as well as long-sleeved, children's, and mini-kit models. The new jersey will be available starting this Friday, April 10th, on the adidas Brazil website, in stores, and on the club's official e-commerce site, with prices starting at R$ 449.99 (adult model).
