YOUNG APPRENTICE PROGRAM
O Young Apprentice Program is a federal government initiative that proposes measures to encourage young people to enter the job market. The Apprenticeship Law (10.097/00) establishes that all medium and large companies are required to hire young people between the ages of 14 and 24 on their staff, under special fixed-term employment contracts of no more than two years.
Working as a Young Apprentice has become a unique opportunity for students to learn and gain paid professional experience. To participate in the program, young people must meet certain prerequisites, such as being enrolled in elementary or high school and maintaining regular attendance, in addition to being registered in the apprenticeship program.
