A Flamengo TV It has a major new addition to its commentary team. The former full-back Flamengo idol Athirson is the newest member of the club's official channel. With memorable spells at the club in the 1990s and 2000s, the former player now brings his experience and passion for the team's colors to the Flamengo broadcast booth.

“I’m returning to my home, where I put down my roots. Flamengo has always been my life story. Being back at the club, close to these fans, is something that deeply moves me. Now as a commentator, I want to share with the Nation what I experienced on the field, bringing my technical vision, experience, and joy. It’s a privilege and an immense pride to return to Flamengo at such a positive moment in the club’s history,” he stated.

The former player joins Diego Pose and Victor Falso Nove on the commentary team for Flamengo TVIts debut will be on November 15th, during the broadcast of the match between Flamengo and Sport, a game valid for the Brazilian Championship.

Athirson will also be part of the team. Flamengo TV providing special coverage of the CONMEBOL Libertadores final, live from Lima (PER), participating in the channel's broadcasts and schedules during the event.
