Summary of the reopening of the headquarters

See what the first day of activities back in Gávea was like

Last Friday (July 10th), following guidelines from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo resumed activities at its headquarters in Gávea. The reopening is still partial, as some activities remain suspended, such as: sauna, massage, social pool, common room, recreation room, playground, soccer field, party rooms, schools and museum.

The Club, which is operating with reduced hours, from 8 am to 18 pm, has developed a detailed Return Protocol, with measures that aim to guarantee health safety in all facilities.

The so-called "Golden Rules" were also announced, with a series of prevention and precautionary measures that must be followed by everyone. The Olympic-size pools operated under new rules, which have already proven effective in controlling attendance. Staff received specific training, and these safety measures are being widely disseminated among employees, athletes, and members. We also publicized the new rules via email and in highly visible locations throughout the club.

The club's sanitation has become more frequent. Even before the club's reopening, the clubhouse underwent a disinfection process using high-quality products, always following procedures approved by ANVISA.

Our Medical Department will periodically conduct testing on our employees, who are monitored weekly through a questionnaire provided by the Club. All the precautions taken ensured that we had no problems on this first day of opening. Adjustments will certainly be necessary, as this is a learning experience for everyone.

We are working hard to ensure everyone's safety and we count on your help and understanding.

We would like to once again thank those who have managed to keep their membership fees up to date for their commitment and collaboration, giving us the opportunity to make several improvements to the Club.
