Flamiguinhos Channel launches 'congratulations' song for the red-and-blacks
Video features special appearance by star Everton Ribeiro and his family as characters from the cartoon

Flamengo and Grajaú Filmes launch this Friday (20), at 20 pm, new content on the children's channel Flamiguinhos, available free of charge by FlaTV. The song “Parabéns do Flamengo” celebrates the anniversary of the red-blacks, exalting the presence of family and friends, in addition to the pride of being part of the Nation. The new addition features the participation of football player Everton Ribeiro and his wife, Marilia Nery, as well as the couple's son, Augusto, as cartoon characters. In the video, the friendly Baby Guto, as he is known by the red-and-black fans on social media, is the birthday boy celebrating the occasion alongside the Flamiguinhos.
"It was a great honor and joy for me to be able to see my family representing Flamengo fans. Flamiguinhos is a great idea. Not only are the kids loving it, but the adults too. It's something the whole family can enjoy. Here at home, the new 'Happy Birthday' song is already the most played; Guto can't stop listening. I'm very happy for the invitation and hope the song can brighten up many children's parties," praised the star of the red-and-black number seven, who received the video firsthand to show to the protagonist Baby Guto.
"I was so happy and honored to be part of this beautiful and innovative project. Having my family represented as 'the red-and-black family' was very special. We've already shown it to Guto, and he can't stop watching, clapping, and almost singing along. We're sure it will be a hit, and at every little red-and-black fan's next birthday party, we'll play this song. We're so grateful for the invitation. We used to watch it all the time before, and now the affection is even more special," said Marilia Nery, publicist, hospital clown, wife of Everton Ribeiro, and mother of Guto.
With around 67 thousand subscribers and almost 700 thousand views in less than twenty days since its launch, the Flamiguinhos channel has been receiving positive responses for its unique initiative in children's content in Brazilian football, in addition to praise for the diversity of themes and quality of the animations.
"The nation is not only a fan of Everton Ribeiro, but also of his beautiful family. We are sure that children and adults will once again be enchanted by the video that features our star, his wife, and his son as characters. Not to mention the birthday song that promises to become part of every little Flamengo fan's 'Happy Birthday' song," said Gustavo Oliveira, Flamengo's vice president of Communications and Marketing.
For Grajaú Filmes, the release fulfills a long-standing demand from Flamengo fans. "In my house, we always sing the Flamengo anthem on birthdays. That's why we came up with the idea of creating a Flamengo 'Happy Birthday' song for these occasions," says musician and professor Wladimir Corrêa, one of the song's authors and a partner in the production company.
In the composition process for new songs, one of the project's most significant aspects, authorship is shared. "Usually, the idea comes to me, and I move on to developing the lyrics. André, always very quick, comes up with the melody, and we make the final adjustments together," concludes Corrêa.
