Flamiguinhos Channel brings together soccer and samba stars
New video features Rafinha alongside Arlindinho and Xande de Pilares, as well as paying tribute to Arlindo Cruz

Flamengo and Grajaú Filmes launch this Sunday (19), at 11 am, another video on Flamiguinhos channel, on FlaTV. The song "Tio, Me Diz Como É," a tribute to the club and its fans, promises to melt many hearts, not only of the younger Flamengo fans, but also of the grown-ups. Featuring star player Rafinha, already known for his talent in the partido-alto, and musicians Xande de Pilares and Arlindinho, the song features a fun "chat-ball" between the characters of the Flamengo fans to a samba rhythm, recalling stories and achievements of Flamengo."I'm very happy to have been chosen to participate in Flamiguinhos, especially with the samba rhythm. It's really cool to be close to the children and bring them joy. In these times we're going through, relaxation, joy, and affection become even more important," said Rafinha, Mengão's right-back and samba lover who voices one of the characters in the upcoming episode of the animated series.
In one scene, Arlindinho recalls one of the many times he went to Maracanã with his father, musician Arlindo Cruz. "It's moving to talk about our history, not only as father and son, but also with our Flamengo club," he says.
André Diniz, one of the song's composers, also gets emotional when talking about his partner Arlindo Cruz. "Flamiguinho is with you, keep the show going... that's the main message of the song and our project, but this song is especially a tribute to a great friend," said Diniz.
Launched just over a month ago, the Flamiguinhos channel already has over 85 subscribers, with eight songs available for free, plus some karaoke versions. In total, the videos have already garnered over 1,5 million views. Another simple tribute, in the song "Tio, Me Diz Como É," features a verse by Moraes Moreira, a illustrious Flamengo fan who recently passed away, framed in the living room of the Flamiguinhos house: "And now, how am I supposed to be on Sunday afternoons without Zico at Maracanã?"
The symbolic Santa Cruz fan also illustrates one of the scenes in the video, full of references and allusions to the red-black mystique.
