Letter to the Red-Black Nation
By Rodolfo Lacy - inBrazil and the world are immersed in an unprecedented crisis. The threat posed by Covid-19 to public health is forcing countries, states, and cities to close their borders, and the general population to change their habits, restrict their movement, and rethink their way of life.
Even so, we know that losses will come in many different forms.
In this dark moment, I would like to invite our great Red-Black Nation to renew hope and work for better days.
Let's take care of our elderly, let's help those who need it most.
It's not just about each of us, but about the collective well-being.
Together, with the same hope that keeps us cheering, even in the most difficult moments of the games.
Together, with the same determination capable of pushing our athletes and turning games around when victories seem unlikely.
These will be difficult times, but if each of us does our part, following the authorities' guidance and helping each other, together we will overcome them.
As our anthem says, we will win, win, win this challenge.
Everything else can wait.
