The Gilberto Cardoso Filho Grand Hall in Gávea was reopened on Friday evening. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including President Rodolfo Landim; Vice President General and Legal Affairs Rodrigo Dunshee; Vice President of Fla Gávea Getúlio Brasil; and CEO Reinaldo Belotti. 

"It makes me very happy. We're delivering another facility with the quality that Flamengo deserves. We had a Grand Hall, but it had a number of problems (...) We weren't really able to properly serve our members and our meetings. We couldn't offer this hall for members to rent for their personal parties. We're delivering a facility with the level that Flamengo deserves, and in an exceptional location, with an incomparable view," Landim celebrated. 

Rodrigo Dunshee shared the president's line of thought and invited the red-and-black fans to come and see the new space.

"I'm happy to be here. Flamengo is the biggest club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the world. It has the biggest fan base in the world. It had to have a Grand Hall worthy of Flamengo. Now everything is beautiful, everything is great. Perfect acoustics... It will generate new business. Come see our new hall," said Dunshee.

Getúlio Brasil, in turn, made a point of thanking ABC, one of the CRF's sponsors. 

"Now it's truly a Grand Hall. It was built with a lot of help from ABC, one of Flamengo's sponsors (...) The work is progressing. Before, we had a daily attendance of 300 members. Today, we have almost 3 members. The Club offers several options. The work done at Fla Gávea wasn't done by me alone; it was done by a team," stated Getúlio Brasil.

Finally, the words of CRF CEO, Reinaldo Belotti:

"Now it's truly a Grand Hall. Completely remodeled. It probably has the most beautiful view of any club in Brazil. A special spot, facing Lagoa (Rodrigo de Freitas). The people who designed it knew how to take advantage of this view like no one else. It's a hall worthy of the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo."
