Council of Great Benefactors elects members for honorary titles
Emeritus, Benefactors and Grand Benefactors registered were elected in addition to the Honorary ones indicated by CODI
By Flamengo Regatta Club - inOn the evening of this Thursday (5), the Council of Great Benefactors met at Flamengo's headquarters, in Gávea, to elect the Emeritus, Benefactor and Great-Benefactor members registered to receive the titles, in addition to the Honorary members, indicated by the Board of Directors.
The honorary titles will be awarded at a formal meeting of the Deliberative Council, scheduled for the second half of November this year. Also on the occasion will be the titles of Redeemed members, those with 50 uninterrupted years of membership, and Laureates, in addition to honoring employees with 30 years of outstanding service to Flamengo.

Understand each title, according to the Statute of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo:
Great Benefactor is the Benefactor who, for a period equal to or greater than ten years, counting from the date of granting the benefit, continues to provide relevant services to FLAMENGO, in the judgment of the competent Authority.
Worthy is the Emeritus who, for a period equal to or greater than five years, counting from the date of granting the emeritus, continues to provide relevant services to FLAMENGO, in the judgment of the competent Authority.
Emeritus is the member who, for a period equal to or greater than five years, provides relevant services to FLAMENGO, in the judgment of the competent Authority.
Honorary is the one to whom this title is conferred by the competent Authority, as a special tribute, in recognition of notable services rendered to FLAMENGO or national sport.
Laureate is the member who has been an individual champion for five consecutive years, competing for FLAMENGO; or one who has been a champion for three consecutive years or five alternating years, provided that FLAMENGO has also been a champion in the sport played in the same years by the athlete. The conditions for the awarding of the laurel are that the athlete remains a member of FLAMENGO for at least ten years, and that his or her nomination is approved by the Board of Directors.
Redeemed is the member who completes fifty uninterrupted years of associative life at FLAMENGO, being exempt from paying any contribution to the club.
