Flamengo returned to the streets this Friday (03) for another action of the 'Nação Solidária' campaign. This time, the Club was present at Fundição Progresso to distribute units of alcohol gel to workers at bars and events located in Lapa and other regions of downtown Rio.

During this period when businesses are closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fundição Progresso is organizing a large-scale distribution of basic food baskets and cleaning supplies. To contribute to the campaign, Mais Querido donated 288 bottles of hand sanitizer.

"We're making this move to help people who are unemployed during the pandemic. With Fundição Progresso's initiative, we're now helping those unable to work. With this, we're trying to reach an ever-increasing number of workers. We're collecting soap, cleaning supplies, and now, together with Flamengo, hand sanitizer. We'll be distributing these items today," said Cadu Tepedino, general producer at Fundição Progresso.

It's always worth noting that Flamengo's branded hand sanitizer bottles are produced in partnership with LBBio (Brazilian Biology Laboratory). Once again, Flamengo was represented by Camila Nascimento, the club's Social Responsibility Manager.
