Demian Fiocca is Flamengo's new Vice President of Finance
With a vast background in the field, the economist has been a member of the club since 2016
By Flamengo Regatta Club - inIt was defined this Tuesday (16) that Demian Fiocca is the new vice-president of Finance of Flamengo. After the departure of Rodrigo Tostes, who was in the position until this month, president Landim made the invitation to the economist, who is already in charge of the portfolio.
A member of the club since 2016, Fiocca holds a master's degree in economics from the University of São Paulo (USP) and served as president and vice-president of the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) from 2004 to 2007. With a vast and distinguished track record in the field, he has served as chief economist at HSBC Brazil and Telefonica, secretary of international affairs and head of the economic advisory office at the Ministry of Planning, executive director of Vale, and president of the bank Nossa Caixa. He also received the Order of Rio Branco—the highest honor bestowed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for outstanding service to the country—and is the author of the book "The Money Offer in Keynesian Macroeconomics."
