The Flamengo Regatta Club and the Flamengo Museum deeply regret the passing of the great red-and-black Eduardo Vinicius Fernandes de Souza.

The museum's curator devoted his life to preserving the club's history. A Honorary Member since 2009, Eduardo was the largest collector of Flamengo's history. His collection includes more than 22.000 items related to the club, including jerseys, tickets, pennants, photos, documents, and more.

Currently, in addition to being the museum's Curator, Eduardo Vinicius was Secretary of the General Assembly, Advisor to the Presidency of the Deliberative Council and Member of the Deliberative Council's Contract Monitoring Committee. 

He attended regattas, gymnasiums, and stadiums. He was with Flamengo everywhere. And Flamengo was always with him, close by, in his collection, memories, and friendships.

He left a great legacy for the Club, immortalized in the form of a museum.
