To foster social development through sports, Eletrobras renewed its sponsorship of the Flamengo Olímpico - Aquatics and Artistics project. Since 2014, the company has supported the project, formed by Olympic athletes from various sports, through the Sports Incentive Law.

Through Eletrobras Furnas, the initiative provides training and infrastructure suitable for the practice of sports activities, encouraging athletes to participate in regional, national and international championships.

Renewing our sponsorship for another year reinforces our commitment to sports, aiming to strengthen and expand the company's social impact beyond the energy sector, stimulating the growth of Brazilian athletes," says Renata Petrocelli, Executive Manager of Brand, Image, and Reputation at Eletrobras.

Created in 2013, the Flamengo Olímpico project serves approximately 400 beneficiaries, including athletes aged 6 to 38, who participate in swimming, water polo, artistic swimming, and artistic gymnastics. The current team includes athletes at different stages of their careers, including established names such as Jade Barbosa, Flavia Saraiva, Lorrane Oliveira, and Rebeca Andrade in women's gymnastics, as well as Diogo Soares in men's gymnastics, as well as sprinter Guilherme Caribé and his swimming partner, Murilo Sartori, among others.
