On the morning of this Friday (15), amidst the celebrations of Flamengo's 124th anniversary, another eternal idol of the club was honored in Gávea. Nunes, the Top Scorer of Decisions, was immortalized in a bust located at the entrance of the social headquarters of the Most Beloved. Moved, the Number 9 gave a speech.

"Today is a wonderful day, I'm very happy. This is the result of work done with great professionalism and humility. The Nação Rubro-Negra is part of my life, my story. I arrived at Flamengo when I was 12 years old, was welcomed with great affection, and felt comfortable developing my work at Gávea, alongside my teammates from that time, who have all become idols of the club and I am part of that generation. I am very proud to have worn the Flamengo jersey," said Nunes.

The Flamengo idol joins former teammates Adílio and Leandro, who were also honored with busts at Gávea Stadium. Zico, the eternal number 10, has a statue in front of Fla Memória.
