Clarification regarding the Maracanã Administration
By Maracanã Administration - inIn view of the news published in the press, the Maracanã Administration hereby clarifies that during the entire period of operation of the complex by this administration, there has never been any fine, from any government body, that has indicated the existence of tax evasion on the part of Maracanã.
Likewise, there is no judicial or administrative process forcing Maracanã to commit irregularities in ticket sales.
In terms of heritage conservation, investments made over the last year have made Maracanã one of the best and most well-maintained stadiums in Brazil, to the point of being chosen by Conmebol as the venue for the 2020 Libertadores final.
The Maracanã administration is available to the competent authorities to provide any clarifications that may be necessary and reaffirms its commitment to transparency, ethics and legality.
