In light of the news released today, Flamengo informs that, after months of negotiations, it has only signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a view to the possible acquisition of land, located in Barra da Tijuca, for the construction of its stadium.

The aforementioned document establishes a ten-month deadline for carrying out technical and financial feasibility studies.

Due to the Club's upcoming elections, no further details will be released at this time. The Memorandum stipulates that the president-elect will have a period of time to express his or her willingness to proceed with the studies, without any detriment to Flamengo.
