Between October 21st and November 30th, the Flamengo Museum will feature a new temporary exhibition: Future of the Nation, an exhibition that celebrates the thought and creativity of public school students in Rio de Janeiro. The exhibition is the result of the project of the same name, developed by the club's Social Responsibility department. The club hosts an essay contest in which public elementary and high school students are invited to write essays on topics such as "Female Empowerment," "Confronting Racism," "Sports Values," and "Life Perspectives," encouraging youth empowerment and the development of writing and critical thinking skills. The six best essays are awarded prizes, and the entire class participating in the contest is taken to see the Maracanã stadium on a tour mediated by the Flamengo Museum's Education Department.  

The exposure Future of the Nation will feature excerpts from 23 essays, revealing the ideas, dreams, and hopes of children and young people, highlighting the importance of education, equal opportunities, and the active voice of youth. Students from participating schools will also participate in a guided tour of the museum.

“The idea of ​​the project Future of the Nation is to value and stimulate the creative spirit. The words of these students reflect not only their realities but also their visions for a better future. The themes of the productions always highlight a relevant and current topic. The exhibition is, therefore, an opportunity to delve into the minds and hearts of these young people,” explains Angela Machado, Flamengo's Director of Social Responsibility.
