Red-black citizenship celebration takes place this Saturday
Programming at Gávea will entertain members who come to the club to elect Flamengo's 57th president

Next Saturday, December 8th, come exercise your statutory right to vote and strengthen your Red-Black citizenship. The 12 elections will choose the president and vice-president of the Board of Directors; the president and vice-president of the General Assembly; and the transitional body of the Deliberative and Administrative Councils for the 2018/2019/2020 triennium. Voting will take place at the Hélio Maurício Gymnasium, at the Gávea headquarters, from 2021:8 a.m. to 21:XNUMX p.m.
And to honor members and their dependents at such an important moment for Flamengo, Fla-Gávea planned a day with many recreational activities: live music in the pool, recreation in the children's playground, puppet theater in the playroom, as well as two special sessions at the brand new CINE FLA, at 10 am (Scooby Doo) and at 14 pm (Ice Age).
It's important to note that access to the club on election day will be restricted to members, with no guests or visitors permitted. To ensure the well-being and freedom of movement of those who will vote, some club services will be modified. The playschools will be closed, as will the soccer fields and tennis courts. The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Who can vote
Members who are listed as voters at the General Assembly and in good standing with the club are eligible to vote. Official photo ID and membership card are required to vote.
Four tickets are competing in the presidential elections: 'Yellow Plate - Brave Heart', by José Carlos Peruano; 'Chapa Branca - Fla Tradition and Youth', by Marcelo Vargas; 'Pink Ticket - Advance More, Flamengo', by candidate Ricardo Lomba; and 'Purple Ticket - United for Flamengo', by Rodolfo Landim.
The 2018 elections will determine who will be the 57th president in the history of the World's Most Beloved. The elected president will hold office for the next three years (2019 to 2021).
