Fla-Anjo has reached its 12th edition, consolidated as the largest movement of direct support for sports in Brazil. Far beyond a program, it is a link of solidarity between the Nation and more than a thousand young athletes supported annually in Basketball, Rowing, Women's Football, Artistic Gymnastics, Judo, Swimming, Water Polo, Canoeing, and Volleyball.

More than R$ 50 million has already been raised thanks to donations spread across the country. Each donation — which can be deducted up to 7% from income tax — is transformed into infrastructure, equipment, training, and dreams fulfilled for the Flamengo youth academy. 

Names like Rebeca Andrade and Flávia Saraiva were impacted by the project, as well as more than 10 athletes who have already passed through Flamengo's youth system.

Fla-Anjo also values ​​those who are part of this story: in addition to exclusive benefits, for every R$ 500 donated, the donor gets a priceless chance: to have their name on the back of the players' shirts in a Flamengo men's soccer match. 

Kayo Gonçalves is a living example of the strength of Flamengo's youth development program. A product of the club's youth system, he joined at age 14 and worked his way up to become a professional basketball player for FlaBasquete. His journey represents the direct impact of investing in talent development and shows how a structured environment, qualified professionals, and constant support make a difference in enabling young athletes to continue evolving, not only within Flamengo but also in Brazilian sports.

“The Fla-Anjo program fertilizes the soil, waters it, and gives the seeds – which are us, the youth athletes – the opportunity to grow healthy and have a good experience in the sport. If Flamengo didn't have the structure it has in its youth system, there wouldn't be many athletes going from youth to senior level. And I am one of those returning athletes,” Kayo celebrated.
