Flamengo officially launches Flamengo TV
The channel's first official live broadcast will be the draw for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores 2025, today at 20:30 pm

Flamengo officially launched FLAMENGO TV, the club's new YouTube channel, today, with the presence of hired journalists, commentator João Guilherme, and presenter Daniela Boaventura. Communications and content director Flávia Da Justa presented the channel's concept and the new features that the re-founded Flamengo TV will bring to fans. The channel's debut will be today, with live, of the draw for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores 2025, at 20:30 pm.
Designed for the digital environment, the channel, with its own language, will explore content generated by Flamengo, encourage national participation, and air a mix of live programming, such as training sessions, pre- and post-game reviews, and Olympic sports competitions. Recorded programs include Mengo Cast, Por dentro do Ninho, and Memengo. It will also feature the weekly newspaper, Nação News, hosted by Dani Boaventura.
One of the biggest new features is the live broadcast of Brazilian Championship matches abroad, rights reacquired by Flamengo, with commentary by the channel's main announcer, João Guilherme.
Digital language brought influencer Reikauss to Flamengo TV, on the Memengo program, with react of the week's top memes, and the presentation, alongside João Guilherme of Mengo Cast. Reikrauss "invaded" the press conference as he usually does on his social media.

After the event's special opening with a report by journalist Tino Marcos, Flávia da Justa outlined the concept behind the transformation of the Mais Querido TV channel, based on references from the top tier of world football: "We conducted a global benchmark of club TV channels and want the Flamengo TV brand to be the Flamengo brand. The TV channel represents the club. The TV channel is the club. That's why we call it FlamengoTV."
Flamengo TV will have three studios: at Ninho do Urubu, at Maracanã, and a third to be built at the Gávea headquarters. "We want to bring the fans closer to the club. And to do this, we'll rely on data analysis to understand what the nation likes and wants to see," explained Flávia Da Justa.
The narrator João Guilherme did not hide the emotion that the professional challenge, at the club of his heart, represents: “That is exactly why I am here, because I am convinced that this project will be the beginning of a new era of sports communication in Brazil”, said the Flamengo TV reinforcement.

Presenter Daniela Boaventura, also a Flamengo fan, revealed what made her decide to accept Flamengo's invitation. "The possibility of building a new TV station, giving it a new look, bringing new content, putting ideas into practice, and combining this with my love for the team captivated me," the communicator stated.

Along with the two reinforcements, the full team that will be part of Flamengo TV's programming and broadcasts for national and international audiences was also announced. Commentator Emerson Santos, known as EmerShow, commentators Olivinha and Diego Pose, and reporters Lazlo Dalfovo, who remains with the team, Jéssica Mendes, who leaves the stands to report, and Rachel Drodowsky. Bruno Ourique completes the team as I doublé of narrator and reporter.
With the new cast already in action, the first live, Flamengo TV's official event will be the draw for the group stage of the 2025 Copa Libertadores, today at 20:30 pm, on the YouTube channel.
