The day was filled with celebrations in Gávea. On this November 15th holiday, Flamengo celebrated 127 years of history and many glories, a source of pride for the immense Red-Black Nation spread across the globe. The celebration began with the traditional Alvorada (Alvorada) at the rowing club's headquarters, followed by breakfast, attended by president Rodolfo Landim, who raised the Mengão flag.

Afterwards, members in attendance were able to witness the unveiling of the bust of former player Lico, the 1981 World Cup winner, along with his book. Afterwards, a mass was celebrated in the chapel of Saint Jude Thaddeus.

Following the celebrations, it was time for the book launch by former player Mozer, who was also part of the World Cup-winning team. The Flamengo idol, like Lico, was on hand and took photos with the fans.

The morning of festivities also included the traditional "Happy Birthday" celebration at Boca Maldita, complete with cake. The Charanga Rubro-negra (Red and Black Charanga) was present and livened up the festivities. To conclude the activities in Gávea, at 15 p.m., a lively pick-up game between the performers will be played.
