A meeting to establish the working groups that will work on the process of modernizing the Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Bylaws was held this Thursday at the Gávea headquarters. The meeting officially marked the beginning of the work of the groups, whose mission is to discuss and propose improvements to the club's governing document.

In total, 58 of the 64 guests participated in the meeting, both physically and online, demonstrating the engagement of the advisors and associates with the project. During the opening ceremony, the president of the Deliberative Council, Ricardo Lomba, highlighted the importance of the initiative and reinforced the commitment to a more democratic and transparent Flamengo:

"The creation of the working groups represents a fundamental step in the process of modernizing and improving our Bylaws. More than an administrative initiative, it fulfills a commitment made during the campaigns for the Deliberative Council and Board of Directors. From the outset, we made it clear that we would work for a more modern, transparent, and democratic Flamengo. We were careful to form these groups with members from various political parties within the club, ensuring a pluralistic, in-depth, and constructive approach to the topics under discussion. This collective development is essential for the new Bylaws to reflect the values, needs, and ambitions of our Red-Black Nation."

From now on, the groups will focus on fundamental issues of club governance, focusing on updating and strengthening Flamengo's institutional structure. The goal is for the new Statute to reflect a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach aligned with the club's current and future challenges.
