In partnership with the Human Rights Defense Center – NUDEDH of the Rio Public Defender's Office and with the collectives Rua Solidária and JUCA – Juntando os Pocos e o Café da Manhã do Hely, the CRF Social Responsibility Department participated last Tuesday (31) in a major community support action, in which homeless people were assisted by the Itinerant Unit of the RJ Public Defender's Office and received legal guidance for referrals and issuing of documents.

"Flamengo brings joy to the hearts of so many fans, at games and in championships. But this outward look, beyond its own club, makes the institution more human for those who see what's happening and are sensitive to it. Flamengo's Social Responsibility is a collective effort. And those who benefit most from this are the ultimate beneficiaries of this work: the extremely vulnerable and invisible population. Carrying out initiatives like this, which provide food and meet the immediate needs of this population, with documentation and legal guidance, is crucial," said Vania Rosa, founder of Coletivo Rua Solidária.

The event took place in downtown Rio and involved approximately 500 homeless people. In addition to water bottles and hygiene and bath kits, breakfast, sanitary pads, and backpacks were also distributed.
