With great joy for a year full of achievements, Flamengo distributed gifts to the children who are part of the Núcleo Jogaremos Juntos do Cantagalo this Tuesday, 20th. In total, around 180 children received gifts from a sponsorship action organized by Responsabilidade Social do Mais Querido, which collected new clothes and toys among club members and employees. 

To entertain the children, mascots Binho and Urubão were present, as well as a strong team formed by judo athletes Daniel Nazaré, José Viegas and Renan Moutinho, as well as Ana Clara de Almeida, Brazilian and South American artistic swimming champion, Lorenna Antunes, artistic gymnastics coach, Ana Luiza, artistic gymnastics athlete and Ana Julia, Brazilian gymnastics runner-up. 

Jogaremos Juntos is Flamengo's social project in partnership with institutions that work with sports in socially vulnerable communities. At the Núcleo Jogaremos Juntos do Cantagalo, run in partnership with the local institution Projeto Acolher, children have access to soccer, basketball, judo, and artistic gymnastics classes, where they develop socio-emotional skills beyond sports.

The Christmas gift sponsorship campaign held at the club also included children from the Núcleo Jogaremos Juntos in Vila Aliança and the Meu Kantinho social project in Complexo do Alemão.
